Library Scheduling

Collaborative Planning
Mr. Parker is available for collaborative planning during the school day and before and after school. If possible, please contact Mr. Parker via email at least one day in advance with your requested date, time, and purpose for the planning.

Individual Students and Small Groups
Individual students and small groups are welcome anytime throughout the school day. Students must have the approval of their classroom teacher if they visit during the school day.

Whole-Class Visits
Classroom teachers can schedule class visits to the library. Please email Mr. Parker at least one week in advance and let her know your plans. This will allow us to prepare materials for your visit.

Circulation Policy

Students may check out up to two items for two weeks. They may renew books at the end of this period unless another student has requested a hold on the item.  Fines will be charged for lost or damaged materials. Students may be allowed to check out more than two materials if they receive approval from the school media specialist.

Teachers may check out ten materials at a time for a two month period. This also includes access to reference materials and classroom book sets. Late fees will be applied for overdue materials and fines will be charged for lost materials.
