Today the students of Phillips Middle were treated to a special visitor. In light of September 25th being National Comic Book Day, the owners of Arkham Comix, Bill and Tiffany Young along with local comic strip artist Brandon "BDone" Belvin came to visit our school. During their visit, students were able to received free comic books from Arkham Comix!! The students were told they can find comic books for everyone and how reading comics can spark a child's imagination and open doors to endless possibilities. The students seemed very excited about their new comics and could be heard discussing different characters as they returned to their classrooms.
